Disturbing the heart that was already silent

明月高懸微風與星穿
The bright moon hangs high, breeze and stars thread through
tīng āi tàn hóng yán
聽哀嘆 紅顏
Listening to the sighs of a beautiful woman
suí liǎo liǎo hóng chén huà zuò lán shān
隨了了紅塵 化作闌珊
Following the mortal world, turning into the waning light
cǎo zhǎng yīng fēi cháng mìng luò
草長鶯飛 長命落
Grass grows and orioles fly, long life fades
ài liǎng liǎng sān sān sī què zǒng cháng cháng
愛兩兩三三 思卻總常常
Love is bits and pieces, but longing is constant
sué liú nián piāo bó
隨流年 漂泊
Drifting with the fleeting years
huā kāi huā luò rì shēng rì mò
花開花落 日升日沒
Flowers bloom and fade, sun rises and sets
zhēn qíng rú yān bō
真情如煙波
True feelings are like misty waves
rén zhǐ zhī jì mò
人只知寂寞
People only know loneliness
shéi zài hu yīn guǒ
誰在乎因果
Who cares about cause and effect?
cháo qǐ cháo luò yuè yuán yuè mò
潮起潮落 月圓月沒
Tide rises and falls, moon waxes and wanes
kàn pò bù shuō pò
看破不說破
Seeing through it but not exposing it
tài dān bó yǔ shéi néng shuō
太單薄 與誰能說
Too fragile, to whom can I speak?
